Privacy

TonVault is built to be trusted with your card, so it asks nothing of you and keeps to itself.

The app

TonVault runs entirely on your Mac. It does not collect any data, it has no accounts, it shows no ads, and it does not track you. It makes no network connections of its own. It reads the folder or SD card you point it at, and it writes only where you tell it to (backups and quarantine folders you choose). It never sends your samples, file names, or anything else anywhere.

The website

This site uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Umami) to count visits and clicks through to the App Store. It records no personal data and sets no advertising cookies.

Before launch, the site ran a waitlist. Its one message went out when TonVault shipped, and the list has since been deleted. The site collects no email addresses.

Questions
